Raiders’ Latavius Murray takes responsibility for his mistakes

CHICAGO — In the end, when the Raiders had nothing left to offer but cliches, Latavius Murray took his medicine like a man and the team didn’t throw its young running back under the bus.

Murray, emerging as one of the league’s most impressive running backs, got bum-rushed Sunday. Coming off his most impressive game, Murray was held to 49 yards on 16 carries. Worse, he coughed up the ball twice: first on a second-quarter pass that clanked off his chest and was intercepted, leading to a Chicago field goal; and on a fourth-quarter fumble that the Bears recovered, ending a promising drive near midfield.
