PHOENIX -- Thirty-five years after they moved from Oakland the first time, the Raiders were set to be ticketed to move again Monday. The NFL owners are expected to vote yes on Oakland owner Mark Davis’ proposed move to Las Vegas, league sources said, before lunchtime at the annual spring meeting in Phoenix.
The Raiders feel they have the necessary 24 of 32 owners’ votes to relocate to Vegas in 2020, and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Sunday night that Monday was “going to be an exciting day.” Both Patriots owner Bob Kraft and Chargers owner Dean Spanos said “it’s a good move.
