Raiders’ Carr, receivers don’t impress Broncos’ defenders

The Broncos aren’t really buying the Derek Carr MVP talk, heading into Sunday night’s game. The Raiders’ quarterback threw for 513 yards Sunday in Tampa Bay, and the Denver cornerbacks still weren’t all that impressed.

“The Bucs, they make it hard to watch, watching their secondary,” Broncos cornerback Chris Harris told reporters. Carr “has so much confidence in (Michael) Crabtree and (Amari) Cooper that he’ll just throw it up to him. So we have a lot of chances to get picks.”

Cooper is third in the NFL with both 52 catches and 787 yards receiving, and Crabtree is tied for the league lead with six TD catches and ranks fifth with 47 catches.
