Raiders brush aside Jaguars, improve to 5-2

JACKSONVILLE - The Jaguars were so godforsaken awful Sunday that it took some of the luster off the Raiders’ 33-16 win. Oakland’s offense was pedestrian at best, save for a lovely over-the-shoulder catch by Michael Crabtree, and settled for four field goals in the snoozefest.

Luckily, bad smells go away and the Raiders woke up Monday with a 5-2 record and their first 4-0 road record since 2000, when they went to the AFC Championship Game.

Oakland never trailed, and put the game away in the final minute of the first half. Quarterback Derek Carr hit Crabtree with a 56-yard bomb with 39 seconds left, and then three plays later, fired in a two-yard touchdown pass to Crabtree on a slant.
