Unusual A’s getaway day; Casilla starts, Rajai Davis scratched, Lowrie at third

MESA, Ariz. - The A’s are skedaddling out of town quickly Wednesday, with the major leaguers expected to be out of the game against the Cubs after three or four innings so the traveling party can fly back to the Bay Area.

And there are a lot of moving parts going on:

*Starter Kendall Graveman was moved to an intrasquad game at the A’s minor-league facility because he was under the weather Tuesday and the team can control the environment better at minor-league camp.

*Reliever Santiago Casilla will start at Sloan Park, instead, to make sure he gets his work in with the team only there for a few innings.
