Since being acquired by the Oakland A’s, Khris Davis has become a fearsome slugger in the middle of the lineup. His 2019 season notwithstanding, he has been a consistent slugger, a key part of the A’s lineup since his acquisition from the Brewers prior to the 2016 season.
While Davis had been a good player during his one full season in Milwaukee, he truly announced his presence on May 17, 2016. He had already belted two home runs against the Rangers Cole Hamels earlier that day, solo home runs in the second and sixth innings.
