Dave Kaval, the A’s new president, said Friday that he plans to enrich the fan experience at the Coliseum.
That makes him the leading candidate for 2017 Executive of the Year.
Prettying up the Coliseum is as tough as prettying up Candlestick Park back in the day, but with revenue-sharing checks evaporating, the A’s will be forced to change how they conduct business at 7000 Coliseum Way.
Kaval said every dollar of revenue generated will go to “the on-field product and the fan experience.” He wouldn’t say how the dollars would be divided but suggested it’ll be about balancing the needs.
