The Oakland A’s outrighted infielder Andy Parrino to Triple-A Nashville after he cleared waivers, the team announced on Monday.
Parrino was selected from Nashville May 22 and appeared in 16 of the A’s 26 games before he was designated for assignment June 19.
He was 0-for-6 with five strikeouts and two walks. Parrino is batting .271 with four home runs and 12 RBI in 39 games with the Sounds.
