The recruiting office at Notre Dame has been putting in tons of work this month. Yesterday, Notre Dame offered football scholarships to 5 top recruits from across the nation.
They seem to have been really focusing on receivers lately, especially from California. Given that the Irish have DelVaughn Alexander and Brian Polian on staff now, recruiting California should be more successful in ’17 than recent years.
Notre Dame’s last two commits were receivers Braden Lenzy and Micah Jones – both very talented.
You would think staff would sit back and be choosy with the last few pass catcher spots, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
