There have been quite a few movies made about the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but none (even Rudy) have come close to being as powerful as what the new Hesburgh movie looks like it will be.
The movie, obviously, will tell the incredible story of Father Theodore Hesburgh — as daunting as it may seem. Father Ted’s extraordinary life centers around his time as the President of Notre Dame between 1952 and 1987. He was once labeled as the most influential man in America at one point, and had the ears of presidents, popes, and other world leaders.
