Norwich chief executive Jez Moxey leaves after just six months at the club

Norwich have announced chief executive Jez Moxey has left the Sky Bet Championship club by mutual consent after just six months in the role.

Moxey arrived at Carrow Road in August last year from Wolves but departs with chairman Ed Balls admitting things have 'not worked out satisfactorily for either Jez and his family or for the football club'.

Norwich, relegated from the Premier League last season, lie 10th in the Championship standings after 28 games - three points behind sixth-placed Derby.
