Norwich appoint Borussia Dortmund II boss Daniel Farke on two-year deal

Norwich have named Borussia Dortmund II boss Daniel Farke as their new head coach.

Farke has signed a two-year deal with the Championship club after guiding Dortmund's reserve team to a second-place finish in Regionalliga West this season, losing only three matches in the process.

The 40-year-old follows in the footsteps of Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner, who left his role as Dortmund II boss for the Championship in 2015. Farke succeeded Wagner at Dortmund after a six-year spell with Lippstadt.

"I'm very excited to be here, it's a great adventure for me," Farke told Norwich's official website.
