What’s better than winning one national title? Winning two, of course. Olivia Rosendahl won her second NCAA title in platform diving at this weekend’s NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships in Columbus, Ohio. Rosendahl entered the finals as the fourth seed, but she won by over 10 points over Texas’ Samanthe Brombe, securing her second-consecutive title.
Rosendahl was basically perfect on Saturday evening. She was trailing Indiana’s Jessica Parratto, who beat her in the Big Ten Championship, through two dives, but she pulled away from the entire field with an excellent final three dives that blew away the competition.
