After dropping their first game at the Wooden Legacy tournament this past week to Fresno State, the Wildcats (5-1) bounced back by defeating La Salle and Utah handily.
Georgia Tech (4-1) remains sort of an unknown team, at least for the moment. The Yellow Jackets’ only loss this season came against No. 6 ranked Tennessee. Georgia Tech has defeated Lamar, East Carolina, UT Rio Grande, and Prairie View. While Northwestern enters the clash as seven-and-a-half point favorites, it will be a test for the Wildcats before they enter Big Ten play this Saturday at 1 pm CT.
