AKRON, Ohio – Two Panthers earned All-America honors in the freestyle division at the UWW University Nationals tournament that finished up today.
To participate, wrestlers must be between the ages of 17-27 and be enrolled at an institution of higher learning or have graduated in the previous year.
Max Thomsen was UNI's top place winner with a fifth-place finish in the 70-kilgram weight class, and Jacob Holschlag took eighth in the 86-kilgram weight class.

Thomsen is one of two returning All-Americans for UNI. As a redshirt freshman, he took fifth place in the 149-pound weight class at the 2017 Division I NCAA Championships.
