WATERLOO, Iowa – It came down to the final match, but the UNI tennis team fell to UW Milwaukee 4-3 Sunday afternoon at the Blackhawk Tennis Club in Waterloo.
The final point was determined by the last singles match in which UNI fell resulting in a 4-3 win for UW.
In doubles action, all three UNI doubles teams fell in their competition. Kim Zizek and Val Carro fell in a close battle against UW Mayya Pervoa and Anika Tylek 6-4, giving Milwaukee a 1-0 lead.
In singles action, Zizek topped Nicole Clarke 6-2, 6-4.
