DES MOINES, Iowa --- UNI volleyball fought tooth and nail for every point and emerged on the winning side of competition for a tenth straight match as the Panthers grabbed their ninth Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) win of the season in a thrilling 3-1 victory over the Drake Bulldogs on Monday night at the Knapp Center.
In one of the most anticipated matches of the conference schedule, UNI now holds a two-match lead on the second-place Bulldogs at the midway point of the conference schedule. Monday's matchup marked the first meeting between the programs since last season's MVC Tournament Championship, where the Panthers rallied from down 2-1 to defeat Drake.
