CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI swimming and diving hit the water for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon in its Purple and Gold Intrasquad meet at the Glen F. Henry Pool.
Saturday's competition ended in a 142-142 scoring tie, with the purple team claiming the win in a 100-yard medley relay tiebreak.
The purple team claimed victory in the first two events with the 200-yard medley team of Helena Heuberger, Sydney Aird, Scout Bergwall and Faith Larsen outouching their next closest opponent. Olivia Chambers gave the purple team a win with an impressive performance in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
