Since the hiring of as Assistant Athletic Director for Development/Director of the Panther Scholarship Club in December 2016, he and UNI Director of Athletics have been looking for ways to grow the fundraising arm of the department.
One initiative that has taken off is a multi-year pledge to the PSC. Christensen pushed the idea of having donors give pledges over a five-year period and set a goal of $500,000. It allows for donors to show their commitment to the PSC and the value of the fundraising piece needed to give UNI its best chance to perform at its highest level.
