LAS VEGAS – The UNI women's basketball team fell to Ohio State 64-46 Saturday night in the final game of the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout at the South Point Arena in Las Vegas.
UNI struggled to find an offensive rhythm, shooting and Ohio State jumped out to an 8-2 lead and never looked back.
Ohio State led by as much as 23, but UNI battled to cut the lead to 55-46 with 1:30 to play before the Buckeyes closed the game on a 9-0 run.
UNI held Ohio State to just 4-16 (25%) from three, but the Buckeyes outscored UNI 42-8 in the paint.
