SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — UNI tennis picked up a pair of top-five finishes over the weekend in singles competition as the Panthers competed at the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Individual Championships at Missouri State's Cooper Tennis Complex.
Darta Dalecka took home fifth place in the Flight 2 singles bracket, bouncing back after a first-round loss to Drake's Mille Haagensen (6-2, 6-7, 6-2). Dalecka would win her final three matches in the consolation side of the brackets, beginning with a three-set battle with Bradley's Anna Belogliadova (6-7, 7-4, 10-5), followed by a bye into the fifth place match.
