2017 MVC Men's Golf Championship Central
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team will head to the Missouri Valley Conference Championship at Lemont, Illinois, April 24-25.
The Panthers placed seventh in the pre-championship poll of the league's head coaches. The tournament will be played at Cog Hill #4, and will be hosted by Loyola. Last year at the MVC Championship, the Panthers finished eighth. In the 2014-15 season, the men's golf team finished tied for second at the conference championship, which was their best finish since 2002.
The weather forecast for the conference championship does have a chance for rain on Tuesday afternoon.
