CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- On a record-breaking day of support, UNI Athletics saw $115,368 raised during the university's annual day of giving, Live Purple, Give Gold.
"Live Purple, Give Gold was a great success for UNI Athletics," said UNI Athletics Director David Harris. "We decided to change the format and give our supporters an opportunity to give directly to a sport of their choosing. Our donors responded with a record breaking level of support. The most encouraging part of the day was the number of people that gave to our sports programs for the very first time.
