CEDAR FALLS -- Like most athletic directors these days, David Harris has a lengthy to-do list at the University of Northern Iowa.
UNI competes at a high level in nearly every sport, but Panther athletics are playing catch-up with the competition in many regards when it comes to infrastucture. From the needs of today's Division I student-athletes to staffing, coaching salaries and facilities, Harris won't run out of things to do anytime soon.
It all starts with fundraising. The cost of doing the daily business of athletics continues to rise, while generating revenue for facilities is another ongoing challenge.
