LARAMIE, Wyo. - The Wyoming Cowboys won a three-point shootout over the University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team Saturday in the Arena-Auditorium in the Missouri Valley/Mountain West Challenge, 81-73.
The Cowboys drained 16 three-pointers in the matchup, while the Panthers were able to knock in 10 from distance. The Cowboys buried 10-of-15 three-pointer in the second half as they rallied from a seven-point deficit with 17:05 left in the game.
UNI's Jeremy Morgan reached the 20-point mark for the third time this season as he made 8-of-15 shots from the field. Spencer Haldeman chipped in 18 points off the bench - all in the second half.
