DeKALB — The Huskies traveled to Muncie, Indiana to face the Miami University Redhawks in the Mid-American Conference Championship Friday, which was hosted by Ball State University.
The Huskies (10-13, 4-4 MAC), seeded at No. 5, saw an end to their season as the No. 4 Redhawks defeated them in a 4-1 effort in the first round.
“This is a tough loss for the team,” said Head Coach Tanya Mahefu, according to NIU Media Services. “We played great doubles today, as we have all year, but we were not able to put enough points on the board in singles play.
