DeKALB — Marijuana is either decriminalized or legal for medicinal use in 28 states and the District of Columbia, but the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB all have yet to acclimate to the times, and continue to ban the substance — even though they allow pain killers to be handed out like candy.
3. Le’veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers running back
Bell has been suspended by the NFL twice in his four-year career with the Steelers for possesion of marijuana. He was suspended the first two games of the 2015 season after an August 2014 arrest for a DUI and marijuana possesssion.
