DeKALB – Before the season, Northern Illinois women's soccer coach John Ross said that sophomore Taylor Sarver was one of the fastest players in the Mid-American Conference.
Now the speedy forward has helped the Huskies to a perfect start to conference play.
Sarver leads the team with four goals on the year, including two in the conference opener against Central Michigan, and was named the MAC West Player of the Week.
"She's always been a dangerous player," Ross said. "Last year, she had created quite a few opportunities like she is this year. This year she's putting them in the back of the net.
