DENTON, Texas -- Jacobi Boykins scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and Louisiana Tech won its seventh straight game 85-67 over North Texas on Thursday night.
Erik McCree added 17 points and seven rebounds for Louisiana Tech (21-8, 13-3), which has clinched a first round bye in the Conference USA Tournament which starts March 8. The Bulldogs are still 1 1/2 games behind Middle Tennessee for first place with two games remaining.
