Mason Fine
Sophomore QB / 5-foot-11, 173 pounds
2016 stats: 155 for 261 passing for 1,572 yards, 6 TDs and 5 INTs in nine starts
Notable: Fine moved into the starting lineup in the second week of the season after shining in mop-up duty in a season-opening loss to SMU. He guided UNT to four wins before suffering a shoulder injury in a loss to Western Kentucky in his ninth start that ended his season.
