For the third straight week, the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball was unranked in the latest Top 25 Poll for the college basketball season. But they at least made some progress in the coaches poll.
After ending their four-game losing streak with a win over UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic ahead of Christmas, the Tar Heels managed to get 7 votes in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll. They currently sit at 7-5 on the year including 1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.
The Tar Heels did not receive any votes in the AP Top 25 Poll.
