Two UNC medical professors file patent for heart failure treatment

Two professors from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Medicine filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for new approaches to treating heart failure. Monte Willis, professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Scott Bultman, associate professor in the Department of Genetics, filed the patent application. (WRAL Tech Wire)
