LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - The four Premier Lacrosse League clubs taking part in the upcoming Championship Series announced their 12-man rosters this week, which featured three former Tar Heels.
Justin Anderson '21, Chris Gray '22, and Marcus Holman '13 were selected by their respective teams to play in the five-day event, at The St. James in Springfield, Va., near the end of February.
The Olympic-style sixes games will be played exclusively with shortsticks, during four 8-minute quarters. The fast style contest will have face-offs only to begin each quarter, as goalkeepers will restart play after goals, and any shots that miss the target are deemed turnovers.
