In a weird twist to an even stranger story, offensive guard Jared Cohen is back at the University of North Carolina.
Cohen, if you will remember, was a member of the 2014 recruiting class. He played in all 13 games as a true freshman, starting in two of them, and was penciled in as a starter at guard for the rest of his Carolina career.
That never materialized.
Citing ‘personal issues’, Cohen left the team for Spring Practice in 2015, returned for the fall, then was released from his scholarship in late October.
