I don’t know enough about the sport to tell you exactly how Carolina beat Notre Dame on Sunday to advance to the program’s first Final Four since 1993. I can’t pretend to know enough to write about what the Tar Heels need to do on Saturday against Loyola (noon, ESPN2) in the Final Four.
But you don’t have to appreciate faceoffs or clears or extra man opportunities to appreciate what happened on Sunday. You just have to appreciate college sports, and it helps if you love the Tar Heels, and it might help even more if you like people.
