To All Tar Heels Out There,
I simply want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for making Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina feel like home. Three years ago I made the decision to leave my family and friends back in Sweden to start a journey in a land far away. I was scared to leave everyone I loved behind, but at the same time excited to start a journey that would allow me to grow immensely as a person. It felt sort of like a “blind date.” I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was ready to go through with it.
