Huge Scoring Run Lifts WLAX Past Notre Dame, 18-4

CHAPEL HILL—Behind big performances from All-Americans and , top-seeded North Carolina rolled past No. 4 seed Notre Dame, 18-4, Friday in the semifinals of the 2021 ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship at Dorrance Field in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

UNC (17-0) will play the winner of the second semifinal between No. 2 Syracuse and No. 3 Boston College on Sunday at noon.

The Tar Heels scored 18 consecutive goals in a dominating effort. UNC held a huge advantage in the draws, winning 18 of the 24 draw controls in the game, including 13 straight at one point in rallying from an early deficit and then building a big lead while holding the Fighting Irish (9-6) scoreless for over 47 minutes of game action.
