CONCORD, N.C. – North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis will lead a star-studded list of dignitaries for the annual Bank of America ROVAL 400 on Sunday October 9 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, including a bevy of familiar names from the worlds of sports and entertainment.
Davis will kick off the most anticipated race in the NASCAR Playoffs when he gives the command for drivers to fire up their engines ahead of Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Davis was named the 20th head coach for the legendary Tar Heels in 2021.
