GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four Tar Heels have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, announced Monday by the league. Senior Ronnie Schneider, junior Robert Kelly, sophomore Blaine Boyden and freshman William Blumberg earned the honor.
To be considered for the team, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 cumulatively and for the most recent semester. Athletic achievements during the season also are taken into consideration for team selection.
All four UNC honorees had outstanding 2017 seasons on the court in addition to achieving in the classroom.
