The ACC Tournament is off and running as Wednesday featured four more games in Washington D.C. As we head into Thursday’s games, let’s take a quick look at what happened the previous day.
Game 1: Pittsburgh holds on to beat Syracuse
Pittsburgh wins a 72-71 tough gritty game over the Syracuse Orange. James Robinson the senior guard failed to let his panthers lose; scoring the final 4 points in the last minute, to see his team survive and advance. Syracuse had a final shot to win it but Trevor Cooney missed a three at the buzzer, to allow Jim Boehim and his team to be sweating a lot on Selection Sunday.
