NC State football recruiting: New Jersey athlete Jasiah Provillon picks Wolfpack

Not coincidentally, NC State’s recruiting success in New Jersey has picked up out of nowhere after Dave Doeren hired former Rutgers defensive backs coach Aaron Henry. Henry has helped the Pack staff plug into some pretty fertile crootin’ territory, and that’s paid dividends. Three-star athlete Jasiah Provillon became the third member of State’s 2018 class from Jersey on Saturday.

The Wolfpack’s Jersey trio includes quarterback-of-the-future Devin Leary, who is an Elite 11 finalist and the second-best prospect in State’s class. Leary was on campus this weekend and no doubt helped State land Provillon.

Provillon is not as highly regarded as Leary, but he is a high three-star (Rivals has him ranked as a four-star), and he’s also the third-highest ranked player in NC State’s 2018 class.
