NC State added another player to its 2018 recruiting class on Friday afternoon when Florida athlete Teshaun Smith verbaled to the Wolfpack. Smith, who is 6’3 and 170, is coming off a junior season in which he contributed on both sides of the ball.
“Lock-Smith” is a quality nickname and we look forward to using it if he realizes his potential as a defensive back. He could end up elsewhere on the field in college, but he’s being recruited to play in NC State’s secondary. Given the state of the roster, that’s a big area of need for Dave Doeren’s staff right now.
