In an exclusive report by the NY Post, legendary hockey broadcaster Mike “Doc” Emrick is retiring.

“I hope I can handle retirement OK,” he told Phil Mushnick last night. “I’ve just been extremely lucky for 50 years. And NBC has been so good to me, especially since the pandemic, when I was allowed to work from home in a studio NBC created.”
Hockey games will just not feel the same for many people. Just like people still longing to hear Vin Scully call a World Series game.
Doc, you will be sorely missed.
