As the NHL calendar readies to turn to the final month of 2015, we still hold these truths to be self evident: the group that got off to great starts on this season have, for the most part, been able to maintain them. Dallas, Montreal, the Rangers, St. Louis - they all started the season well and not a whole lot has changed as we enter December.
But none of them is the NEW NUMBER ONE TEAM that we have for this week!
Other teams who started poorly - Los Angeles, Anaheim, Columbus - have improved, some more than others.
