The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Florida Panthers for the eighth consecutive time on the road Wednesday evening, keeping them perfect in Sunrise, Florida, over the past 12 seasons, per the Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN.com).
Three other teams have accomplished the same feat over that span. The Colorado Avalanche have gone 7-0-0 against the Boston Bruins in Boston, the San Jose Sharks are 7-0-0 against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Toronto, and the Washington Capitals are a perfect 6-0-0 against the Anaheim Ducks in Anaheim.
