Adobe Photoshop’s New “Generative Fill” AI Tool: Revolutionizing Image Editing with Text Prompts

Adobe has recently launched a new AI-powered image editing tool called “Generative Fill” in its beta version of Photoshop. This revolutionary tool uses Adobe’s AI image generator Firefly to allow users to extend images, add or remove objects, and manipulate photos with text prompts. This tool creates a new “Generative Layer” that enables non-destructive alterations to the image content.

Generative Fill is one of the first Creative Cloud applications to use Adobe’s AI image generator Firefly, which was released as a web-only beta in March. The tool adjusts to the perspective, lighting, and style of the selected image automatically, making it incredibly easy to use.
