Report: Broncos’ DeMarcus Ware likely out 3–4 weeks with ulna fracture

Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware is expected to miss 3–4 weeks with an ulna fracture near his elbow, NBC Sports’ Mike Florio reports.

Ware, the team’s defensive captain, went down with the injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s win over the Colts while trying to wrap up Andrew Luck on a run.

To fill the void left by Ware, Denver will likely lean on Shane Ray, a first-round pick in 2015, Shaq Barrett and Dekoda Watson.

Next on the schedule for the Broncos: the Bengals and Buccaneers on the road, and a home game against the Falcons.
