Niners CEO taking hit after loss to the Seahawks

The deterioration of the San Francisco 49ers has been in the spotlight since early last season. The NFC franchise took yet another big hit on Thursday when it fell with little fight to a subpar Seattle Seahawks team, 20-3.

But even with as much as Colin Kaepernick and the Niners have been criticized on the field, the bulk of the blame after Thursday’s loss is being directed at CEO Jed York.

It isn’t the first time in the past year or so that responsibility has been put on him, either.

As San Jose Mercury News reporter Tim Kawakami labeled it, the 2-5 Niners’ “ season is heading south, on a direct line; it starts with Jed York, and nobody really knows when or where it might end.
