It’s well-known that NFL teams starting 0-2 rarely rebound to make the playoffs, putting tremendous pressure on them to buck the odds.
Three teams that qualified for last year's postseason are hoping to be added to the list of five teams out of 66 (8 percent) that have accomplished the feat since 2007: the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks, the Indianapolis Colts and the Detroit Lions.
The Colts have now gone 0-2 in successive seasons, and no team in NFL history has ever gotten into the playoffs when that has happened.
