Former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Hall of Famer Jim Kelly returned to New York City for biopsy surgery, according to a post on his wife's Instagram account.
Jill Kelly posted a photo of Jim Kelly on social media Thursday explaining that his latest scans were inconclusive, which led to the surgery.
Jim Kelly, who led the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances, said last week at his annual football camp that he felt good and was cleared to work out. He first announced he had cancer of the jaw in 2013.
